Introduction

A byproduct of the industrial processing of corn with specific properties. The dry substance content in Corn Steep after evaporation is 48-50 %. This product is rich in soluble proteins, vitamins and lactic acid, which make it valuable. It is used as a culture medium in the production of antibiotics, vitamin B-12, lysine, yeast (for bakery, brewery, cattle). It is a high quality additive to cattle feed.
