Introduction
Sanospray is a modified starch powder, used to improve strength properties of kraft paper/duplex board by spray application.
Description
As machine speeds and pressing efficiencies increase, the time, temperature and moisture availability for gelatinizing starch decreases. The need for a specialized product is thus required and Sanospray is made to fulfil this requirement.
Product is designed to retain, swell rapidly and reach gel temperature with highest possible viscosity. Sanospray granules are entrapped by the fibrous web and subsequently gelatinized by heat available in the dryer section.
