Introduction

Sanocat is a cationic starch made with varying degree of cationic charge based on application requirements.

Description

Sanocat is manufactured with maximum molecular weight and has a cationic charge attached to it, which improves the internal strength properties of the paper. The electrokinetic attraction promotes a stronger bond between the anionic cellulosic fibre surface, anionic fillers and the starch hydroxyl groups.
